EDIFY, as a faith-based organization, cooperates with ATER in delivering professional trainings. In this cooperation, ATER identifies and delivers professional development trainings to Edify’s partner schools. Further, ATER’s expertise guides these schools in creating a support network for English teachers and facilitates regular meetings, until these meetings become independent and self-sustaining.

EDIFY and ATER’s cooperation has the goal to increase access to quality training, training materials, and encourage teachers to support/empower each other through professional development. ATER also helps EDIFY schools to establish Teachers Communities of Practice. Communities of Practice are groups of teachers who meet to share a concern or a passion for something they do and learn how to do it better as they interact regularly. In Teacher Communities of Practice, teachers support one another by sharing solutions to issues they encounter in the classroom, encourage one another in their teaching, and generate new ideas to bring to the classroom.
