There are many benefits of belonging to a professional organisation like ATER.
ATER members have the opportunity to network with other professionals in the field of English language teaching and learning, both locally and internationally. ATER also offers professional trainings in partnership with its partners. These trainings aim at upgrading members’ knowledge and skills and addressing challenges faced in the daily practice of their profession. ATER members also benefit scholarships and job opportunities offered by partner organizations.
How can I become a member of ATER?
It is possible and easy to join ATER online. You can download a copy of membership application form (which is to be used by individual or institutions) and email it immediately to the membership office via: email@example.com, after filling in the information required. Once you are accepted as a member, you will be required to pay a membership annual fee. Currently the individual membership fee is Rwf 15,000.
Can I submit an application to join ATER online?
Yes – you may apply to ATER online using a downloadable application available to our website.
How do I pay for the membership fee?
You will find an account number on the form. Deposit your membership fee on the account, scan and attach your receipt to your application, and send them via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How long is my ATER membership term?
The ATER membership term is one year.
When will I receive my membership Card?
You will be notified when your application has been processed. It should normally take 5 working days to be processed after which you will be sent your Membership card.
